It’s event season once again, and Avalon has partnered to supply event tenting and other rental items to numerous large upcoming events. Canadian National Nordic Ski Championships at Sovereign Lake: March 25-April 2, 2020
Sovereign Lake Nordic Club will be hosting the Ski Nationals from March 25 to April 2, 2020 - Canada's National Nordic Ski Championships, where Canada's future Olympic athletes will compete. This event will not only be exciting for cross country skiing enthusiasts but for the City of Vernon itself, as racers, coaches and athletes' families from all over Canada will arrive to participate and watch the 10-day nordic event.
Avalon will be supplying 20 - 20 x 20' marquee tents with flooring and lighting for team waxing
stations as well as tables and chairs.

AltiTunes Music Fest featuring The Arkells at Big White: April 4, 2020
AltiTunes Music Fest (produced in partnership with the creators of Denim on the Diamond) provides an all-inclusive shared musical experience for families, skiers, outdoor enthusiasts and music fans against the unforgettable mountain backdrop of Big White Ski Resort. The event includes outdoor activities, games, food & drink vendors and an array of live music at the main stage.

BC Wine, Cider and Spirits Festival at SilverStar Mountain: April 4, 2020
Attend an all-inclusive tasting event April 4th in partnership with SilverStar Mountain Resort as Showpass presents WINTERLAND - Wine, Cider & Spirits Tasting (part of the BC Wine, Cider & Spirits Festival). The village at SilverStar Mountain Resort will be transformed into the apres-ski event of the year, complete with inflatable igloos, samples from member wineries, cideries, breweries, and distilleries, food, entertainment, souvenir glass, and more!

World Mixed Doubles and Seniors Curling Championships: April 18-25, 2020
Curling fans in the Okanagan are stoked to welcome world-class curling this spring as Kelowna will host both the World Mixed Doubles and World Senior Curling Championships in April!. he quality of competition is expected to be better than ever as the World Mixed Doubles is being weeded down to just a 20-team field.
“With over 60 teams competing [across both events] and supporters and media attending from around the world, as well as the World Mixed Doubles being one of our live TV events, I am in no doubt the coverage generated for curling's newest Olympic discipline will be second to none," says Kate Caithness, World Curling Federation President.

Great Okanagan Beer Festival: May 6-10, 2020
Celebrate all things brewery at the 5-day celebration that is The Great Okanagan Beer Festival presented by The Train Station Pub. Discover a mix of amazing programming at local bars and pubs, culminating in the main event at Waterfront Park, where over 60 craft breweries will come together to pour 120+ beers and ciders for 3,500+ festival-goers.
Avalon will supply the main event in Waterfront Park with over 14 tents, tables, chairs and lighting.

The Memorial Cup at Prospera Place: May 22-31, 2020
Kelowna and the Kelowna Rockets will host the 102nd Memorial Cup junior ice hockey championship that determines the champion of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) in a four-team, round-robin tournament at Prospera Place from May 22-31, 2020.
Avalon is pleased to supply over 25,000 sq. ft of tenting, including a large 80 x 180' main tent including all walls, lighting, tables, chairs, cooking equipment and more.

Brett Kissel in Concert: May 30, 2020
As a celebration during the Memorial Cup, Multi-JUNO Award-winning Canadian Country artist Brett Kissel will headline "Live on the Lake," May 30th at Tubboat Beach in Kelowna’s Waterfront Park on the final weekend of the 2020 Memorial Cup presented by Kia.
Avalon will be supplying the Concert Zone and the Family Zone with event tenting, tables and chairs.
