Good morning,
Yesterday I was with my sister, Julie Loverin, to pick up items for her son Geordie’s wedding. Our experience with the Avalon team was beyond impressive and warrants written acknowledgement.
It was a very hot day, and as the pick up task had been assigned late we arrived just 10 minutes prior to closing. Unaware that a car would not suffice for the items to be transported some quick decisions were made; it was not a problem for us to arrange additional transportation.
Members of the team willingly offered to stay after closing to wait for our additional transportation to arrive. While the offer was most appreciated we would not consider asking staff to stay late, especially on a Friday! We requested the items be placed outside for us to load which was kindly done. While waiting outside for our truck to arrive, departing staff checked in with us to ensure we were okay and offered us refreshments.
We were impressed with the willingness of staff to stay late and the ongoing offers to provide additional help and refreshments. Everyone was genuinely considerate and helpful.
Wedding set ups can be very stressful and especially on very hot days. The attitude and support of the Avalon Team removed the anxiety that existed with our short-term challenge. It was all a very refreshing experience.
As a consumer we all appreciate great customer service. As a retired Human Resources professional I am additionally very aware of the value of employees who represent an organization well. Your team members demonstrated respect for the company, value of the customer, went above and beyond to ensure all would be well and along the way showed their individual and collective strength of personal values with excellence.
